Apprentice Trade Counter Assistant ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿšฒ

Ready to dive into the world of cars and bikes? ๐Ÿคฉ This is your chance to kickstart your career in the automotive trade, getting awesome hands-on experience!

You'll be the go-to person for customers and suppliers, dealing with everything from car parts and accessories to serving customers at the trade counter, answering calls, and processing sales and payments. ๐Ÿ’ฐ Get ready to become a pro at stock management, taking in deliveries (with some admin too!), and learning all about our amazing products. ๐Ÿ“š

Your role will also include:

  • Communicating with everyone, inside and out. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ
  • Keeping track of stock and getting orders out the door. ๐Ÿ“ฆ
  • Working with suppliers and manufacturers. ๐Ÿค
  • Getting bikes road-ready (yep, pedal and electric! Training provided). ๐Ÿ”ง
  • Making number plates and mixing paint. โœจ
  • Keeping our store looking sharp. ๐Ÿงน
  • Helping out with any other tasks your manager needs.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A genuine passion for killer customer service and being a team player. ๐Ÿ™Œ
  • A serious interest in cars and bikes! ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ๏ธ
  • The ability to think fast and tackle any task with a "can-do" attitude. ๐Ÿ’ช

What you'll gain:

  • A Trade Supplier Level 2 qualification.
  • Functional skills in Maths and English (if needed).
  • Minimum 6 hours of off-the-job training weekly. ๐Ÿ’ก
  • An End Point Assessment (EPA).

Key responsibilities

  • Serving customers and dealing with customer sales at the trade counter
  • Answering phones, taking payments, and processing customer orders
  • Managing stock control, dispatch, and goods delivery
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Performing administration duties, setting up bikes, making number plates, and mixing paint
