In this role, you'll be the backbone of our childcare setting, handling all the essential day-to-day tasks to ensure our children are happy, safe, and learning. 📚 This means getting creative with fun activities like games to boost their numeracy and language skills, diving into singalongs 🎶, epic role-playing adventures 🦸‍♀️, and captivating storytelling sessions 📖.

You'll also be a key point of contact, providing top-notch service and clear communication with parents and guardians. 🗣️ Building strong relationships with our "external customers" is a big part of what we do!

Plus, you'll be hands-on with the personal care needs of each child, including feeding them yummy meals 🍎, nappy changes 🧷, and administering medicine when needed. 🩹

Key responsibilities

• Complete a variety of day-to-day childcare tasks.
• Ensure that children’s needs, welfare and education are catered for.
• Liaise with external customers and parents to provide a high level of service.
• Meet the care needs of the individual child, such as feeding, changing nappies and administration of medicine.
• Help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing, role-playing and storytelling.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade 4), Maths (grade 4))
