What you'll be doing:
- Crafting and implementing personalized learning support plans based on student needs and feedback. ✍️
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students overcome learning challenges. 🤝
- Empowering students to engage in college life and build essential study skills for independent learning. 📚
- Offering personal care and medical support when needed, following individual care plans. ❤️
- Collaborating with the SEND team to ensure students have access to the best assistive technology and digital tools. 💻
- Working with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and create inclusive environments. 🧑🏫
- Maintaining accurate records of support provided and student progress on our college system. 📊
- Assisting with student Annual Reviews and liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies. 📞
- Supporting students during public exams and formal assessments. 📝

Key responsibilities
- Write and implement high-quality Additional Learning Support (ALS) Plans for an agreed caseload of students.
- Provide regular support for an identified caseload of students, either 1:1 or in small groups.
- Support students to participate in all aspects of college activity and to develop their study skills.
- Collaborate and work closely with teaching staff to adapt and differentiate learning materials.
- Provide and maintain records of support provision and outcomes for each supported student.
