Learning Support Assistant 📚

What you'll be doing:
- Crafting and executing top-notch support plans based on student and family input, making sure every student gets the help they need. ✍️
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to help students smash through any learning barriers they face. 💪
- Empowering students to get involved in college life and develop awesome study skills for independent success. 💡
- Offering personal care and medical support when needed, following individual care plans. 💖
- Teaming up with the SEND Lead to ensure students have access to the coolest assistive tech and digital tools. 💻
- Collaborating with teachers to tweak learning materials so they're perfect for each student's unique style. 🤝
- Keeping detailed records of the support you provide and the amazing progress students make on our college system. 📈
- Helping out with student Annual Reviews to celebrate achievements and plan for the future. 🎉
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to build strong support networks. 🗣️
- Supporting students during public exams and formal assessments to ensure they can shine. ✨

Key responsibilities
- Write and implement Additional Learning Support (ALS) Plans for students.
- Provide regular 1:1 or small group support to students to overcome barriers to learning.
- Support students to participate in college activity and develop study skills.
- Provide personal care/medical support as required for individual students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt and differentiate learning materials.
