Ready to kickstart your career and become a retail rockstar? π Weβre looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Retail Supervisor to join our awesome team in Erdington, Birmingham! This is a permanent, full-time gig with a varied shift pattern β 5 days out of 7 each week.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcome crew: Make every customer feel like a VIP with a genuine smile and a friendly "hello"! π
- Customer champion: Help shoppers find exactly what they're looking for, like a retail detective! π΅οΈββοΈ
- Checkout pro: Zip through transactions with fast and friendly service at the tills, always ready to help pack and leaving them with a big "thank you" and "goodbye"! π
- Stock wizard: Handle deliveries with care, stocking our freezers and shelves with lightning speed so customers can grab their goodies. π§
- Team player: Work with your amazing colleagues to keep our shop sparkling and on point, day in and day out. β¨
- Mini-manager in training: Get involved in opening and closing the shop, handling cash, placing orders, and supporting your manager to ensure our shop runs like a dream with top-notch service. π

To become an apprentice, you need to:
- Be 16 or over. β
- Not currently be in full-time education. π (Already have a degree? No worries, you can still start an apprenticeship!)
As our apprentice, you'll get:
- To complete a Level 3 Customer Services Specialist apprenticeship standard. π
- Regular one-to-one sessions with a dedicated trainer (remote or in-person). π»
- To learn and train for a real job role.
- To get paid and earn holiday leave! π°
- Loads of hands-on experience in a real workplace.
- To dedicate 6 hours of your working time to your studies. βοΈ
- Assessments throughout and at the end of your apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting with purchases.
- Manage stock, process deliveries, and merchandise products on shelves.
- Contribute to shop cleanliness and tidiness through daily and weekly routines.
- Perform essential operational duties such as opening/closing, cash handling, and order placement.
- Support management in leading the team and ensuring efficient shop operations.
