Site Operations Assistant 🛠️

Looking for a dynamic individual to join our school team! You'll be working under the guidance of the Caretaker and School Business Manager, but don't worry, we want you to bring your own initiative to the table too. 🚀

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Porterage Pro: Move, position, and arrange furniture, equipment, and anything else that needs relocating around the school. Think of yourself as our site's Tetris master! 📦
  • Stock Squad Leader: Order and manage supplies, keeping our stock levels healthy and ready for action. No one likes a run on staplers! 📝
  • Delivery Dynamo: Receive incoming deliveries and store them safely and smartly. Organisation is key! 🚚
  • Team Lead (When Needed): If required, you'll supervise a small team, fostering positive vibes and ensuring everyone works together like a well-oiled machine. 💪
  • Paperwork Pal: Complete any necessary paperwork related to supervision and support training. 📄
  • Safety Superstar: Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone on site – pupils, staff, and visitors. You'll be a guardian of our school's positive environment, following all the important rules. 🛡️
  • Security Sentinel: Help keep our school buildings, gear, and assets locked down and secure. You'll be a key-holder and our go-to person for emergency call-outs. 🚨
  • Facility Fanatic: Assist with managing school facilities, including when we open our doors for evening and weekend events. Get ready for some after-hours action! 🎉
  • Budget Boss (Delegated): Keep an eye on delegated budgets, track spending, and handle cash and financial info with accuracy. 💰
  • Meeting Maven: Attend meetings and share your insights to help our school run smoothly. 🗣️
  • Growth Guru: Participate in training and development opportunities to keep your skills sharp and your career progressing. 🌱
  • Positive Persona: Maintain a professional, friendly, and inclusive attitude, making everyone feel welcome. 👋
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues, appreciating everyone's contributions to our amazing school community. 🤝
  • Manual Handling Master: Lift and move items safely, assessing risks and following all health and safety guidelines. Safety first! 🏋️‍♀️
  • Weather Warrior: Duties may take you both indoors and outdoors, in all kinds of weather. Embrace the elements! ☀️🌧️
  • Communication Champion: Interact professionally with the public, staff, parents, governors, and external providers. Clear communication is your superpower! 📞
  • Challenge Conqueror: Handle challenging behaviour from visitors or site users with professionalism and calm. You've got this! 😎
  • Confidentiality Crusader: Uphold privacy and comply with GDPR and data protection laws when handling sensitive information. Your discretion is vital. 🤫
  • Safeguarding Star: Be vigilant for any signs of concern and report them promptly to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Your awareness makes a difference. 👀
  • Equality Advocate: Support our commitment to equality, diversity, and equal opportunities for all. 🌍
  • Inclusive Partner: We're committed to making reasonable adjustments to support you in your role, in line with the Equality Act.
  • Fluent English Speaker: Essential for interacting effectively with our diverse community. 💬

If you're ready to be a vital part of our school's operations and make a real impact, we want to hear from you! Apply today! ✨
