Key responsibilities

  • Carry out porterage duties, including moving and positioning furniture, equipment and other items around the school site.
  • Order and procure required stock, materials and supplies, ensuring adequate levels are maintained.
  • Receive deliveries and arrange the safe and appropriate storage of materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Support the health, safety and wellbeing of pupils, staff and visitors in accordance with relevant legislation and school policies.
  • Share responsibility for the security of school buildings, equipment and other site assets, including locking and unlocking school premises as required.
