Greenkeeper (Trainee/Assistant) 🌿

Ready to get your hands dirty and build a career in the great outdoors? We're on the hunt for enthusiastic individuals to join our greenkeeping team and help keep our golf course looking its absolute best! ⛳️

What you'll be doing:

• Mastering the Mow: You'll be responsible for mowing and maintaining all areas of the golf course, including those pristine greens, tees, and fairways. 🚀
• Turf TLC: Get involved in daily turf care, from watering and feeding to aeration – think of yourself as a plant whisperer for the course. 🌱
• Bunker Boss: Keep our bunkers in top-notch condition by raking and ensuring they're perfectly playable. 🏖️
• Machinery Magic: Safely operate a variety of greenkeeping machinery and hand tools – we'll teach you the ropes! 🛠️
• Water Works: Assist with irrigation and drainage systems, making sure everything flows smoothly. 💧
• Course Care: Help repair and maintain the turf, tackling everything from divots to seeding and replacing damaged sections. 🩹
• Tidy Up Team: Keep the entire course looking sharp by clearing away leaves, grass cuttings, and other debris. 🍃
• Specialist Tasks: Get hands-on with jobs like scarifying, top dressing, and overseeding.
• Gear Up: Clean, check, and perform basic maintenance on our machinery and equipment. ⚙️
• Safety First: Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures and work collaboratively and safely as part of our awesome greenkeeping crew. 🤝

Key responsibilities

• Mow and maintain greens, tees, fairways and other areas of the golf course.
• Carry out daily turf maintenance such as watering, feeding and aerating.
• Maintain bunkers, including raking and keeping them in good condition.
• Use a range of greenkeeping machinery and hand tools safely.
• Clean, check and carry out basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
