This role is all about supporting our pharmacists and technicians to keep everything running smoothly. What you'll be doing:
- Processing prescription requests from other Northwood branches ๐งพ
- Dispensing prescriptions with accuracy and care โ
- Using dispensary and stores computer systems to generate stock lists and labels ๐ป
- Helping to maintain optimal dispensary stock levels โ no running out of essentials! ๐ฆ
- Ordering items needed for the department ๐
- Receiving, loading, and unloading goods from wholesalers, manufacturers, and other suppliers ๐
- Answering questions about medicine supply and availability with confidence ๐ค
- Responding to routine phone and face-to-face queries from patients, their representatives, the public, and colleagues, and knowing when to pass them to a pharmacist or technician ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Flagging any issues or queries to pharmacists or pharmacy technicians promptly ๐ฉ
- Pre-packing, assembling, and labelling medicines efficiently ๐ท๏ธ
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met โ safety first! ๐ก๏ธ
