What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensuring medicines and pharmaceutical products are managed, ordered, received, and supplied safely and accurately. ๐ฆ
- Providing friendly, person-centred advice to patients on their prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, knowing when to call in the experts. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Helping to keep the pharmacy running smoothly, from business operations to stock management and quality control. ๐๏ธ
- As you grow, you'll get to supervise and support other pharmacy team members. ๐ค
- Pitching in with training and mentoring for new colleagues. ๐งโ๐ซ
- Maintaining top-notch standards by conducting audits, evaluating services, and using feedback to improve. โ
Your Qualification Journey:
- You'll embark on a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, equivalent to A-levels. ๐
- Upon successful completion, you'll be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). ๐
- Training will be a mix of hands-on experience at work and dedicated learning. ๐ป

Key responsibilities
- Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
- Providing personโcentred advice to patients on prescription and overโtheโcounter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Supporting the dayโtoโday running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
- Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
