Leisure & Community Engagement Assistant

Ready to make a real impact? 😎 We're looking for energetic individuals to join our team and help get people moving! You'll be working directly with the public at our leisure centre(s), planning and delivering awesome projects and activities to boost sport and physical activity participation for all sorts of groups. 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️

What you'll be doing:

• Getting hands-on: You'll be involved in the daily upkeep of our equipment and keeping our spaces super clean and safe. ✨
• Learning new skills: With the right training and qualifications, you could be stepping into roles like Lifeguard, Receptionist, or Gym Instructor. 🏊‍♀️🏋️‍♂️
• Supporting our Social Supermarket: Help ensure the smooth operation of the Moat House Community Trust's Social Supermarket, including basic food prep and packaging for distribution. 🍎🥦
• Event prep: Setting up equipment for activities, events, and competitions to make sure everything runs without a hitch. 🏆🎉

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver projects and activities to increase participation in sport and physical activity.
• Undertake routine maintenance of equipment and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the environment.
• Undertake duties associated with Lifeguard, Receptionist, and Gym Instructor roles.
• Support the smooth running of the Social Supermarket.
• Complete basic food preparation and packaging food for distribution.
