As a Community Activity Leader, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to boost participation in sports and physical activities for diverse groups. You'll work directly with the public, planning and delivering exciting projects and events right here at our leisure centres. 🌟

What you'll be doing:

  • Engaging directly with the public to plan and run awesome projects and activities. πŸš€
  • Keeping our leisure centre environment sparkling clean and safe, including routine equipment maintenance. ✨
  • Potentially stepping into key roles like Lifeguard, Receptionist, or Gym Instructor (training and qualifications provided!). πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ”‘πŸ’ͺ
  • Lending a hand to keep our Social Supermarket running smoothly. 🍎
  • Helping with basic food prep and packaging for distribution. πŸ₯ͺ
  • Setting up equipment for all sorts of activities, events, and competitions. πŸ†

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver projects and activities to increase participation in sport and physical activity.
  • Undertake routine maintenance of equipment and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the environment.
  • Perform duties associated with Lifeguard, Receptionist, and Gym Instructor roles, subject to training and supervision.
  • Support the smooth running of the Social Supermarket, including basic food preparation and packaging.
  • Set up equipment for activities, events, and competitions.
