What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensuring a safe and sound work environment by following all Health & Safety protocols. 👷‍♀️
• Sticking to our established Standard Operating Procedures. ✅
• Getting hands-on training with various types of machinery. 🛠️
• Operating machines that are already set up for machining tasks. ⚙️
• Helping to choose and set up cutting tools. 🔪
• Assisting with loading and setting up work holding. 🔩
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and solid models. 📏
• Measuring and checking finished parts to make sure they meet precise specifications. 🎯
• Learning to read, test, and modify CNC programs. 💻
• Performing daily checks to keep our machinery in top condition. 💯
• Keeping your workspace clean and organized. 🧹

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety rules in the workplace

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and solid models
• Measure and monitor finished parts to ensure parts are within tolerance
• Learn to read, prove and edit CNC programs

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade 4 and above), Maths (grade 4 and above))
