You'll be working with Manpower at their cool facility in Kingston-Upon-Thames (KT1 2BA), with a sweet mix of in-office and working-from-home flexibility (at least 2 days a week onsite!). This is a full-time, 18-month temporary role (with potential to extend!), working a standard Monday-Friday, 37.5-hour week. Get paid while you learn, with a salary between ยฃ18,000 - ยฃ22,000 per annum. ๐Ÿ’ฐ

What You'll Be Doing (The Mission):

Your main mission? Hit those targets by nailing back-office tasks and making sure we meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs). ๐ŸŽฏ

Your Responsibilities (The Action):

  • Be the go-to person for onboarding all new employees, placement students, and apprentices in the Southeast region. ๐ŸŒŸ
  • Handle the preparation, validation, and running of payroll for everyone in the South East, making sure it's super smooth and has minimal errors. ๐Ÿงพ
  • Ensure our Contract Consultants are crushing service standards and HR policies to keep teams efficient and deadlines met. ๐Ÿ‘
  • Effectively manage and resolve any issues or queries from our associates. ๐Ÿ”ง
  • Make sure all associates on the Unilever contract are referenced to the highest standard. โœ”๏ธ
  • Keep all files updated, securely stored, and associate information perfectly maintained. ๐Ÿ“‚
  • Ensure all your work follows Company policies, procedures, and all legal requirements (including health and safety and employment law). โš–๏ธ
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with everyone โ€“ internal and external stakeholders โ€“ with all the latest HR updates. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ
  • Jump into disciplinary actions, evaluations, and employee processes to provide support. ๐Ÿง‘โ€โš–๏ธ
  • Spot new opportunities within the Unilever Account for Manpower and the wider Group. ๐Ÿ‘€
  • Actively gather feedback from clients and associates on their experience with Manpower, and take action to keep our quality standards sky-high. โฌ†๏ธ

Key responsibilities

  • Solely responsible for the regional onboarding of new employees, industrial placement students, and apprentices.
  • Preparing, validating, and running payroll for monthly and weekly paid employees.
  • Ensuring that all activity complies with Company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Issuing clear and timely communications with internal and external key stakeholders on HR updates.
  • Resolving any day-to-day issues or queries in a timely and effective manner.
