You'll get to explore both front-end and back-end engineering, stepping up to more responsibilities as your skills and confidence grow. Don't worry if you don't know everything yet – that's what apprenticeships are for! We need your genuine passion for software engineering, your love for solving puzzles 🤔, and your drive to learn and grow. You'll be working closely with seasoned engineers who are ready to guide you, give you feedback, and provide opportunities to put your new skills to the test. 💪

Alongside your day-to-day work, you'll be smashing your apprenticeship program with dedicated time for formal learning and development. Our goal? To equip you with the technical know-how, practical experience, and professional skills to become a top-tier Software Engineer. 🌟

What you’ll be doing:

• Learning the ropes of designing, building, and maintaining software for both front-end and back-end applications. 🏗️
• Contributing to real software development projects. 💡
• Leveling up your understanding of programming languages, frameworks, and engineering tools. 🛠️
• Writing clean, maintainable code and mastering good engineering practices. ✅
• Supporting the testing, debugging, and improvement of applications, learning to spot issues, figure out why they happen, and fix them. 🐛➡️✅
• Collaborating with engineers and the wider delivery teams. 🤝
• Building a solid understanding of how to create secure, accessible, and reliable software. 🔒

Entry Requirements:

• Completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or equivalent from another provider.
• OR A-levels in a STEM subject + successful completion of our aptitude test.
• OR BTEC Diploma in IT + successful completion of our aptitude test.
• OR 2 years of experience in a relevant role + successful completion of our aptitude test.
• Combinations of qualifications and experience can also be considered!
• If you have international qualifications, please provide official documentation comparing them to UK standards (check UK ENIC for details).

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (with an hour for lunch) ⏰
