What you'll be doing:

  • Being a go-to person for the children, building trust and positive relationships.
  • Working hand-in-hand with parents and carers, fostering a collaborative approach to childcare. 🤝
  • Keeping a watchful eye on children's health and well-being, as well as the safety of our equipment, and reporting any concerns confidentially to the manager. 🕵️‍♀️
  • Engaging children in enriching play experiences and providing tailored support to help them learn and flourish. 🧸
  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children, understanding and adhering to child protection procedures. 🛡️
  • Actively contributing to team meetings, supervision sessions, and appraisals. 🗣️
  • Taking ownership of your professional growth by attending training and developing your skills. 🌱

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person, liaising with parents/carers to meet children's needs.

  • Actively participate in meetings and take responsibility for personal development.
