We're on the hunt for a Finance Assistant to join us full-time for a 13-month apprenticeship. You'll be working 35 hours per week. This is a prime opportunity if you're a school-leaver or looking for a career change to earn and learn everything you need to smash it in our supportive organisation in a rewarding finance role. The Apprenticeship:
Youβll be working towards an AAT Diploma in Accounting at Level 2 or Level 3, depending on your current skills. Itβs a killer mix of hands-on training and practice, plus classroom sessions to build your all-around skillset. π§
The Role:
As our Finance Assistant, you'll learn the ropes to provide general financial support across the charity. You'll dive into day-to-day finance activities, learning how to:
- Create sales invoices π§Ύ
- Master techniques for chasing overdue debt πββοΈ
- Respond to customer and supplier queries like a pro π£οΈ
- Review supplier statements to ensure invoices are spot on β
- Identify and fix transaction miscodes in reports π οΈ
- Provide general financial and admin support π
About You:
- Got your GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above? You're in! π
- Tech-savvy with spreadsheets? π―
- Great with numbers? π’
- Super detail-oriented? π
- Can you juggle deadlines like a pro? ποΈ
- Proactive and ready to jump in? β¨
