IT Support Apprentice 🚀

What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be the first point of contact for users facing IT issues. Think of yourself as a tech wizard! 🧙♂️ You'll:
- Help people out via phone, video calls, and our ticketing system. 📞
- Sort out common problems like password resets and access issues. 🔑
- Tackle basic hardware problems. 💻
- Perform simple IT admin tasks, like setting up new accounts.
- Keep track of everything you do in our system. 📝
- Direct more complex issues to the right teams.
- Show users how to use helpful tools themselves.
- Always provide amazing customer service with a smile! 😊
- Take ownership of the issues you handle.
- Answer calls professionally and aim for quick fixes.
- Stick to strict deadlines. ⏰
What You'll Need:
- Previous experience helping customers.
- A knack for spotting and fixing basic tech problems. 💡
- Some understanding of ITIL (we can train you!).
- Superb communication and people skills. 🗣️
- Be a team player who's keen to learn and motivated. 🌱
- Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle tasks.
- A proactive, positive, and adaptable attitude.
- Be ready to work onsite at Swandean, Monday to Friday.
Entry Requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- This role is for apprentices, so you shouldn't have existing qualifications at the same or a higher level in a similar subject.
- Don't have the exact qualifications? A mix of experience and other qualifications could still get you in!
- If you have international qualifications, you'll need an official document comparing them to UK standards (check UK ENIC).
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM ☀️

Key responsibilities
- Liaise with customers via various channels to assist with 1st line IT issues.
- Resolve 1st line issues and requests, including systems access and password resets.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnostics for hardware and software.
- Carry out basic IT system administration tasks, such as setting up and disabling access accounts.
- Complete and triage ticket requests diligently, adhering to strict SLAs.
