What you'll be doing:
- Be the ultimate support system for our dentists, providing seamless chair-side assistance. ๐งโโ๏ธ
- Keep our practice sparkling and safe by sterilising and preparing equipment. โจ
- Be the friendly face of our practice at reception, answering calls, greeting patients, and managing appointments. ๐
- Handle patient queries with a smile and process payments efficiently. ๐ฐ
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to a positive patient experience from start to finish. ๐
- Assist with keeping our dental areas clean and organised. ๐งผ
- Help manage our stock of essential equipment and supplies. ๐ฆ
- And generally do awesome things to support our dentists and senior team in providing top-notch patient care! ๐
The important stuff:
- Age Requirement: To join our team as an apprentice, you must be 19 years or older due to insurance regulations. ๐
- Background Check: You'll need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. โ
- Health: A Hepatitis B vaccination is required. ๐
- Qualification: This is a Level 3 (A-Level equivalent) Apprenticeship Standard. ๐ฏ
- Training: Your practical training will happen right here at the dental surgery. ๐
- Skills: We'll support you with Functional Skills training if needed. ๐
