What you'll be doing:
As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you'll be an essential part of our team, working alongside dentists and supporting our amazing patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and exciting, including:
- ๐ฅ Chair-side Assistance: Providing efficient and reliable support directly to our dentists during procedures.
- ๐งผ Sterilisation & Preparation: Keeping our equipment clean and ready for use.
- ๐ Reception Duties: Answering calls, greeting patients with a smile, and managing appointment bookings.
- ๐ฐ Patient Support: Handling queries, processing payments, and managing patient records accurately.
- โ Ensuring Patient Wellbeing: Contributing to an outstanding patient experience and supporting their dental journey.
- ๐ฆ Stock Management: Keeping an eye on equipment and supply levels.
- โจ Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring our dental areas are tidy and welcoming.
This role offers the chance to be involved in all aspects of a busy dental practice, supporting our dentists and senior team to deliver top-notch patient care.

Important Requirements:
- You must be aged 18 or over for this position due to insurance restrictions.
- Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Willingness to obtain a Hepatitis B vaccine.
About the Apprenticeship:
- Qualification: Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard in Dental Nursing.
- Training: Primarily at our dental surgery.
- Functional Skills: Training will be provided if required.
