What You'll Be Doing:
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you'll be the backbone of our dental surgery, working alongside our dentists and team to provide top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chair-side Support: Providing efficient and reliable assistance to dentists during procedures. π¦·
- Equipment Mastery: Sterilising and preparing vital equipment, ensuring everything is ready for action. β¨
- Reception Rockstar: Greeting patients with a smile, answering calls, managing appointments, and handling payments. ππ³
- Patient Experience Champion: Supporting patients' well-being and ensuring they have a positive dental experience from start to finish. π
- Admin Ace: Handling patient queries, booking follow-ups, and maintaining accurate patient records. βοΈ
- Stock & Shine: Managing essential equipment supplies and keeping our dental areas, including chairs, clean and tidy. π§Όπ¦
What You'll Need:
- Age Requirement: Must be 19 or above due to insurance policies. β (Please note: The initial description stated this, so we've included it as per your instructions.)
- Background Check: Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. β
- Health Assurance: Obtaining a Hepatitis B vaccination. π
- A-Level Standard: This apprenticeship is equivalent to a Level 3 (A-Level) standard. π
- On-the-Job Training: Your learning and practical experience will happen right here at the dental surgery. π₯
- Functional Skills: Development of functional skills will be provided if needed. π―
