This role is in our Pensions Audit team, based in our East Midlands office. You'll kick off by specialising in pensions, working with some of the coolest pension schemes across the UK. π° But your adventure doesn't stop there! You'll also get a taste of other audit areas like Private Business, Big Business, and Not-for-Profit, building a solid foundation in business and finance. π

Your Day-to-Dayβ¦
- Reviewing and documenting client info (invoices, bank statements, payroll). π§Ύ
- Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data. β
- Attending client year-end stocktakes (sometimes on weekends or around Christmas β we appreciate the commitment!). π
- Chatting with client finance teams to understand their systems. π
- Helping to prepare financial statements using our audit software. π»
- Working in small teams to test financials and contribute to audit reports. π
- Meeting deadlines and supporting your team to deliver awesome work. π
You'll be studying for your ACA Chartered Accountant Qualification through college courses and hands-on experience. It typically takes around 3 years for graduates or 4 years for school leavers. You'll have a dedicated support system every step of the way. π
