As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you'll be right there, supporting dentists and providing top-notch care to our patients. We're talking everything from routine check-ups to more complex procedures! 💯
What you'll be doing day-to-day:
- Assisting dentists with treatments (making sure everything runs smoothly!) ✅
- Giving patients excellent care and making them feel comfortable 😊
- Getting surgeries prepped and cleaned (spotless is key! 🧼)
- Sterilising instruments (super important for safety! 🛡️)
- Keeping patient records up-to-date 💻
- Looking after our equipment and preparing instruments/materials 🛠️
- Following all practice policies (teamwork makes the dream work! 🤝)
- Working with cool VR technology! 👓
You'll get hands-on experience at our practice, and your training provider, Aspiration Training, will cover all the theory with online learning and one-on-one sessions. Your training is paid for during your working hours – no need to worry about missing out! 💸
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for the dental world – don't be shy around a little blood! 😉
- Reliable transport arrangements to the practice (do your route research! 🗺️)
- Must be able to get a course of Hepatitis B vaccines.
- Must have a clear enhanced DBS check.
This apprenticeship is your pathway to a Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification. You'll learn all the essential skills and knowledge, including:
