What you'll be doing:
- Championing the goals and mission of our setting. π―
- Contributing to awesome, planned activities tailored for different age groups, working alongside a great team. π¨
- Ensuring our little ones receive top-notch physical and emotional care. β€οΈ
- Keeping our environment spotless and hygienic β always! π§Ό
- Maintaining the strictest confidentiality of all information. π€«
- Building strong relationships with parents/carers and families to meet each child's unique needs, respecting parental preferences. π€
- Upholding professional relationships with parents/carers.
- Prioritising child safeguarding by following our Code of Conduct and all setting policies and procedures. π‘οΈ
- Supporting parents/carers and their families.
- Growing your role within the team, especially as a key worker. ποΈ
- Reporting any accidents immediately and completing necessary paperwork. π
- Ensuring the safeguarding of children is your number one priority, always.
- Informing the Nursery Manager IMMEDIATELY of any concerns or changes to your DBS. π¨
- Providing documentation for DBS checks every 3 years and signing up for the DBS update service.
- Following our whistleblowing policy to protect children's safety. π’
- Attending required training courses. π

Key responsibilities
- To promote the aims and objectives of the setting
- To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children
- To ensure the setting maintains a high standard of physical and emotional care, hygiene and cleanliness
- To ensure confidentiality of information received and maintain professional working relationships with parents/carers
- To strive to safeguard children by working to the organisationβs safeguarding Code of Conduct and report accidents immediately
