This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, fully funded by the government through City & Guilds. 🎓💰
What You'll Be Doing:
This 12-month apprenticeship isn't just about studying; it's about diving headfirst into the world of dental care. You'll be an essential part of our practice, working alongside our experienced dentists and team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chair-side Support: Providing efficient and reliable assistance to dentists during procedures. 🤝
- Equipment Management: Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment to the highest standards. 🧽
- Patient Care: Supporting patients throughout their visit, ensuring they have a positive and comfortable experience. 😊
- Reception Duties: Handling incoming calls, greeting patients warmly, and managing appointment bookings. 📞🗓️
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintaining patient records and dealing with their queries. 📝
- Administrative Tasks: Taking payments, processing follow-ups, and managing stock. 💳📦
- Practice Maintenance: Ensuring dental areas are clean and tidy. 🧹
- Team Support: Contributing to the overall smooth running of the practice and helping the senior team provide exceptional patient care. 🚀

Important Requirements:
- You will need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅

Training:
Your training will be delivered on-site at the dental surgery, combining practical experience with academic learning. This apprenticeship is aligned with the Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard.
