About the Role:
Ready to dive into the exciting world of dentistry? We're looking for motivated individuals to join us as Dental Nurse Apprentices! This is a fantastic 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma course with City & Guilds, blending hands-on experience with top-tier training. 🦷✨
What You'll Be Doing:
As a vital part of our dental team, you'll gain invaluable experience in:
- Chair-side Assistance: Providing efficient and reliable support to dentists during treatments. 🤝
- Infection Control: Sterilising and preparing essential equipment to the highest standards. 🧼
- Patient Care: Supporting patients' wellbeing and ensuring a positive dental experience from start to finish. 😊
- Practice Operations: You'll get involved in a variety of tasks including:
- Greeting patients and answering phone calls 📞
- Handling patient queries and taking payments 💳
- Booking appointments and managing follow-ups 📅
- Maintaining accurate patient records ✍️
- Keeping dental areas clean and tidy 🧹
- Managing equipment and supply stock 📦
- Team Support: Contributing to the smooth running of the practice and supporting our dentists and senior team. 💯

Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅
- Willingness to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. 💉
Training:
Your Level 3 (A-Level equivalent) Apprenticeship Standard training will be delivered on-site at our dental surgery. Functional Skills training will be provided if required. 📚
