Ready to kickstart your career in healthcare? ✨ We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Dental Nurse Apprentices! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and earn a Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification, all funded by the government and delivered by City & Guilds over 12 months. 🎓
What you'll be doing:
As a vital part of our dental practice, you'll be learning and contributing across a range of essential duties:
- Assisting our dentists 👩⚕️👨⚕️
- Sterilising and preparing equipment 🧼
- Handling reception duties 📞
- Providing exceptional support to our patients' experience 😊
- Delivering efficient and reliable chair-side support to the dental surgery.
- Recording and managing patient records with care ✍️
- Supporting patients' wellbeing and dental journey.
- Maintaining cleanliness of dental areas, including chairs. 🪥
- Managing stock of equipment and supplies. 📦
- Undertaking any other duties to support the dentists and senior team in delivering effective patient care.
What you need to succeed:
- A commitment to learning and development. 🌱
- A proactive and can-do attitude. 💪
- Excellent communication skills. 🗣️
- Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅
- Willingness to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. 💉
This is a Level 3 (A-level equivalent) Apprenticeship Standard, with training taking place right here at the dental surgery. We'll also support you with Functional Skills if required. 📚
