Ready to kickstart your career in healthcare? ๐ We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Dental Nurse Apprentices!
This is a fantastic 12-month, government-funded opportunity, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. ๐ Your training will be hands-on, right here at our dental surgery.
What you'll be doing:
- Becoming a vital part of the dental team, providing super efficient and reliable chair-side support to our dentists. ๐ฆท
- Assisting dentists during treatments.
- Keeping everything spotless and safe: sterilising and preparing equipment. ๐งฝ
- Being the friendly face of our practice: handling reception duties, greeting patients, and answering the phone. ๐
- Managing patient queries and ensuring everyone has a positive experience. ๐
- Taking payments and managing appointment bookings and follow-ups. ๐
- Maintaining patient records accurately. โ๏ธ
- Contributing to patient wellbeing and their overall dental journey. โจ
- Helping with stock management and keeping our dental areas clean and tidy. ๐งผ
What you'll need:
- A commitment to learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and great people skills.
- To pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. โ
- To be willing to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. ๐
Bonus: You'll be working towards the Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard. Plus, any required Functional Skills training will be provided.
