Dental Nurse Apprenticeship 🦷✨
Ready to kickstart your career in healthcare? We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Dental Nurse Apprentices! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, fully funded by the government and delivered by City & Guilds.
Over 12 months, you'll learn the ins and outs of dental care while working hands-on in our practice. You'll be an integral part of our team, assisting dentists, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready to go, handling reception duties, and making sure our patients have an amazing experience. 💯
What you'll be doing:
- Providing top-notch chair-side support to our dentists.
- Greeting patients, answering phones, and managing patient queries. 📞
- Handling payments and booking appointments. 🗓️
- Keeping our practice organised by sterilising and preparing equipment. 🧼
- Maintaining patient records. 📝
- Supporting patients' wellbeing and ensuring a positive dental journey. 😊
- Keeping dental areas clean and tidy.
- Managing our stock of equipment and supplies. 📦
- Generally lending a hand to support our dentists and senior team! 💪
Requirements:
- Must pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Must be able to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. 💉
- This is a Level 3 (A-level equivalent) Apprenticeship.
- Training will be delivered at the dental surgery.
- Functional Skills will be provided if needed.
