This 12-month, government-funded program, accredited by City & Guilds, offers a Level 3 Extended Diploma, equipping you with essential skills and qualifications. ๐Ÿฆทโœจ

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting dentists at the chair-side ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ
  • Sterilising and preparing vital dental equipment โœ…
  • Handling reception duties with a smile (answering calls, greeting patients, managing queries) ๐Ÿ‘‹
  • Supporting a positive patient experience from start to finish ๐Ÿ˜Š
  • Taking payments and booking appointments ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ
  • Maintaining patient records accurately ๐Ÿ“
  • Ensuring a clean and safe dental environment ๐Ÿงผ
  • Managing stock and supplies ๐Ÿ“ฆ

Key Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ๐Ÿ’ฏ
  • Willingness to undergo a Hepatitis B vaccination. ๐Ÿ’‰
  • A commitment to learning and developing your skills. ๐Ÿ“š
  • Functional Skills (if required).

This is a Level 3 (A-level equivalent) Apprenticeship Standard. Training will be conducted on-site at the dental surgery.
