What you'll be doing:
As an apprentice, you'll be a vital part of our practice, gaining hands-on experience while you learn. Your responsibilities will include:
- ๐ Chair-side Assistance: Providing efficient and reliable support to dentists during treatments.
- ๐ฌ Sterilisation & Preparation: Ensuring all dental equipment is sterilised and ready for use.
- ๐ Patient Records: Accurately recording and managing patient information.
- ๐ Patient Experience: Supporting patients' wellbeing and ensuring they have a positive dental visit.
- ๐งผ Practice Upkeep: Cleaning dental areas, including chairs, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- ๐ฆ Stock Management: Managing the inventory of equipment and supplies.
- ๐ค Team Support: Assisting dentists and the senior team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
- Pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Be willing to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine.

- Qualification: Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard - Dental Nurse (GDC 2023).
- Training: Will take place at our dental surgery.
- Additional Support: Functional Skills training provided if required.
