Dental Nurse Apprentice - Level 3 Extended Diploma ๐ฆท
Ready to kickstart your career in healthcare? โจ We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Dental Nurse Apprentices! This is a fantastic 12-month, government-funded opportunity leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification, delivered by City & Guilds. ๐
What you'll be doing:
- Become an essential part of our dental surgery, providing efficient and reliable chair-side support to our dentists. ๐ค
- Get hands-on experience across all areas of the practice, including:
- Reception duties: Answering calls, greeting patients with a smile ๐, managing appointments, and handling patient queries.
- Patient care: Supporting patient wellbeing and enhancing their dental experience. ๐ฅฐ
- Clinical support: Sterilising and preparing equipment, assisting dentists during procedures, and maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment. ๐งผ
- Administration: Recording patient information, dealing with records, and managing stock of dental supplies. ๐ฆ
- Contribute to the overall smooth running of the practice and support our dentists and senior team in delivering top-notch patient care. ๐ฏ

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Key requirements:
- Must be eligible for a government-funded apprenticeship.
- Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required. โ
- Hepatitis B vaccination is a requirement. ๐
- Functional Skills qualifications may be required if you don't already hold them. ๐
