What you'll be doing:
As a vital part of our practice, your role will involve:
- Assisting our dentists with procedures, providing efficient and reliable chair-side support. 🦷
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment by sterilising and preparing equipment. ✨
- Contributing to an amazing patient experience through reception duties and patient support. 👋
- Handling reception tasks: answering calls, greeting patients, and managing queries. 📞
- Processing payments and managing appointment bookings, including follow-ups. 🗓️
- Maintaining accurate patient records and dealing with sensitive information. ✍️
- Supporting patient wellbeing and ensuring they have a positive dental experience. 😊
- Keeping our dental areas clean and tidy, including chairs and equipment. 🧼
- Managing stock levels and ensuring we have all the necessary supplies. 📦
- Supporting the dentists and senior team in delivering exceptional patient care. 👍
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅
- Willingness to receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. 💉
- Must be eligible for the Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard.
Training:
Your hands-on training will take place right here at our dental surgery. 🏢 Functional Skills will be provided if needed.
