As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you'll be a vital part of our dental practice, learning on the job while earning your Level 3 Extended Diploma. You'll get hands-on experience with:

• Assisting our amazing dentists 🦷
• Keeping equipment sterile and ready to go 🧼
• Handling reception duties – making patients feel welcome! 👋
• Ensuring every patient has a fantastic experience 😊

Your day-to-day will be dynamic and cover all aspects of the practice, including:

• Answering phones and greeting patients at reception 📞
• Helping with patient queries and taking payments 💰
• Booking appointments and managing follow-ups 📅
• Preparing and sterilising instruments for the dental team 🧑‍⚕️
• Maintaining patient records accurately 📝
• Supporting patient wellbeing and their dental journey 🌟
• Keeping our dental areas clean and tidy ✨
• Managing our essential equipment and supplies 📦
• Working with dentists and the senior team to deliver top-notch patient care!

What you'll need:

• To pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check ✅
• To get your Hepatitis B vaccine 💉

• Qualification: Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard
• Training: Delivered at the dental surgery 📍
• Support: Functional Skills training provided if needed 💪
