Become a Dental Nurse Apprentice! 🦷✨

This is a fantastic 12-month, government-funded apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. Level 3 is equivalent to A-Levels, so you'll be gaining valuable, recognized qualifications! 🚀

While you're learning and growing, your role within our dental practice will be hands-on and vital. You'll be:

• Assisting our amazing dentists during procedures 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️
• Mastering the sterilization and preparation of vital dental equipment 🧼
• Contributing to our reception, welcoming patients and managing appointments 🗓️
• Providing exceptional support to enhance our patients' experience from start to finish 🥰

You'll be an integral part of our team, offering efficient and reliable chair-side support. Your day-to-day responsibilities might include:

• Reception: Answering calls 📞, greeting patients with a smile 😊, handling patient queries, taking payments 💳, and booking appointments 📅.
• Patient Care: Supporting patient wellbeing and ensuring a positive dental experience.
• Operations: Sterilizing and preparing equipment, recording patient information accurately 📝, and managing stock levels of essential supplies.
• Teamwork: Undertaking any other duties to support our dentists and senior team in delivering outstanding patient care.

What you'll need:

• To successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check ✅
• To receive a Hepatitis B vaccine 💉

• Qualification: Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard
• Training Location: On-site at the dental surgery 📍
• Additional Learning: Functional Skills training if required.
