As an apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience and contribute directly to our practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chair-side Assistance: Providing top-notch support to our dentists during treatments. 🤝
- Infection Control: Expertly sterilising and preparing essential equipment. 🧼
- Patient Care: Ensuring every patient has a positive and comfortable experience. 😊
- Practice Operations: Handling reception duties like answering calls, greeting patients, managing queries, taking payments, and booking appointments. 📞💳
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintaining patient records. 📝
- Stock Management: Keeping our supplies organised and ready. 📦
- Team Support: Working collaboratively with dentists and the senior team to deliver outstanding patient care. 🌟
What you'll need:
- A successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. ✅
- A Hepatitis B vaccination (we can guide you on this!). 💉
This is a Level 3 (A-Level equivalent) Apprenticeship Standard, with all your training taking place right here at the dental surgery. Functional Skills training will be provided if needed.
