As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you'll be:
- Helping to plan, prep, and run fun, age-appropriate activities that match each child's vibe and interests. ๐จโฝ
- Teaming up with experienced pros to offer top-notch care, learning, and play opportunities. ๐ค
- Supporting Key Persons in nurturing kids' learning, development, and overall happiness. ๐ค
- Helping to create a super safe, stimulating, and inclusive space where *every* child can shine. ๐
- Assisting with personal care routines like nappy changing and encouraging independence. ๐ช
- Lending a hand during mealtimes, promoting good social skills and healthy grub! ๐
- Keeping hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards sky-high. โจ
- Always following safeguarding procedures and speaking up about any concerns ASAP. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Supporting children who are feeling unwell or need extra comfort. ๐
- Building awesome relationships with parents and carers, communicating clearly and supporting each child's unique journey. ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
- Making sure our nursery is a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible place for everyone, no matter their background, abilities, or needs. ๐
- Working together with the whole team and bringing positive energy to the daily hustle. ๐ฏ
- Acting like a total pro, representing our nursery with pride and professionalism. ๐ฏ
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning, preparation and delivery of age-appropriate learning activities.
- Work alongside experienced practitioners to provide high-quality care, learning and play opportunities for children.
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Support children's personal care routines, including nappy changing and promoting independence where appropriate.
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times, reporting any concerns promptly to senior members of staff.
