What you'll be doing:
- Front Desk Superstar 🌟:
- Be the friendly face and voice of our practice, greeting everyone with a smile and a professional vibe. 😊
- Master the art of phone calls, handling inquiries like a champ and directing patients to the right place. 📞
- Be the appointment wizard, booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments like a pro. 🗓️
- Help patients with general questions and point them towards the services they need.
- Onboard new patients and keep their details super up-to-date. ✍️
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and care. 🔒
- Process repeat prescription requests and other routine patient needs smoothly. 💊
- Keep our reception area looking spick-and-span and super welcoming. ✨
- Team up with our clinicians and the rest of the practice crew to make sure patients get the best care.🤝
- Admin Guru 🧠:
- Tackle general office tasks to keep our practice humming. 🎶
- Be the data entry legend, accurately updating info on our computer system. 💻
- Scan, upload, and file documents and correspondence like a ninja. 🥋
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and emails like a boss. ✉️
- Assist with processing referrals, hospital letters, and other clinical admin as needed.
- Keep records neat and tidy, filed perfectly. 📁
- Jump into practice audits, searches, QOF, reports, and data collection when called upon. 📊
- Back up the Practice Manager and the rest of the team with day-to-day admin magic. ✨
Key responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors to the practice in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with patient enquiries appropriately
- Book, cancel and rearrange appointments in accordance with practice procedures
- Carry out general office and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
- Enter and update information accurately on the practice computer system
Entry requirements
GCSE in: (English (grade 4/C), Maths (grade 4/C))
