What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping medicines and pharmacy products stocked and ready, from ordering to handing them out. π¦
- Chatting with patients, giving them advice on their prescriptions and over-the-counter meds (and knowing when to ask a pharmacist for backup! π).
- Helping the pharmacy run smoothly β think stock checks, business stuff, and making sure everything is up to scratch. β
- As you grow, you'll get to support and guide other team members. π€
- Getting involved in training new faces. π
- Helping us make our services even better through checks and feedback. π―
Your Apprenticeship Journey:
- You'll be working towards a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (yep, like A-levels!). π
- Once you're done, you'll be all set to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)! π―

Key responsibilities
- Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
- Providing personβcentred advice to patients on prescription and overβtheβcounter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Supporting the dayβtoβday running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
- Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
