You'll work alongside experienced engineers, with your responsibilities evolving as you develop your expertise.

What you'll be doing:

  • Learning to set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools โš™๏ธ
  • Developing skills in CNC milling and CNC turning
  • Mastering conventional machining processes like milling, turning, boring, and drilling
  • Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications ๐Ÿ“Š
  • Selecting and using the right tooling, work-holding methods, and machining parameters
  • Measuring and checking components with precision equipment to ensure they meet exact specifications โœ…
  • Supporting the production of unique and small-to-medium batch components for our clients
  • Performing routine machine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance according to company procedures ๐Ÿงผ
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Collaborating with colleagues to tackle engineering challenges and drive improvements in quality and efficiency ๐Ÿš€

Key responsibilities

GCSE in: (English (grade 4), Maths (grade 4))
