What you'll be doing:
- Morning & Evening Support: Assisting clients with getting up, going to bed, dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene. π π
- Mobility & Well-being: Supporting clients with physical disabilities, including managing continence and using personal aids/equipment. πΆββοΈπͺ
- Temporary Care: Providing bedside nursing and meal assistance for clients who are temporarily unwell. π
- End-of-Life Care: Offering compassionate support to clients receiving palliative care. β€οΈ
- Activity & Engagement: Encouraging mental and physical stimulation through conversation, outings, reading, hobbies, and more. π£οΈπ³π
- Home Comforts: Making and changing beds, light housekeeping, emptying commodes, and general tidying to maintain a comfortable environment. π§ΉποΈ
- Personal Touches: Inspecting, laundering, and mending clients' clothes. π
- Meal Preparation: Setting tables and trays, preparing and serving light meals, and cleaning up afterwards. π½οΈ
- Reporting & Collaboration: Reading and writing reports, participating in client reviews and training sessions. π
- Adherence & Communication: Following all Caremark policies and procedures. Reporting any changes in client health or circumstances to your Supervisor or Manager. π£
- Promoting Independence: Empowering clients to maintain their independence wherever possible. π

Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, washing, and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility, physical disabilities, and the use of personal aids.
- Provide care and support for sick or terminally ill clients, including bed nursing and feeding.
- Promote clients' mental and physical activities through various engagements.
- Perform light domestic duties, prepare meals, and manage client laundry.
