Key responsibilities
- Supporting older and vulnerable adults with personal care, including washing, dressing, continence care and mobility.
- Assisting with meal preparation and supporting individuals with their daily routines.
- Prompting and, once trained and assessed as competent, administering medication.
- Completing accurate care records on the electronic care system after each visit.
- Identifying and immediately reporting any concerns regarding a service user's health, safety or wellbeing.
