What you'll be doing:
- ๐ Delivering person-centred care that's safe, respectful, and focused on individual needs and preferences.
- ๐งผ Assisting with personal care needs, including hygiene, washing, and dressing.
- ๐ Supporting medication management to ensure individuals receive the right support.
- ๐ฒ Helping with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met.
- ๐ Contributing to household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- ๐ Encouraging active and social lifestyles based on individual choices and interests.
- ๐ค Providing companionship to combat isolation.
- ๐ Collaborating with our Support Officers to plan and review care.
- ๐ Accurately recording care provided and feedback.
- ๐จ Reporting any well-being concerns promptly.
- ๐ญ Supporting individuals in a wide range of activities that are meaningful and enjoyable to them.
What your apprenticeship includes:
- ๐ Work-based training: No college days needed! Learn on the job with a blend of face-to-face sessions and remote check-ins with your Learner Coach every 6 weeks.
- ๐งโ๐ซ Workplace mentor: Get dedicated support from someone within the team.
- ๐ Functional Skills: Opportunity to gain qualifications in English and Maths if needed.
- ๐ Regular Reviews: 12-weekly reviews with you, your manager, and your Learner Coach.
- ๐ Qualification: Work towards a Health and Social Care Foundation Apprenticeship Level 2 over 8 months.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent care and support to each individual, ensuring it is safe, personal, respectful, and maintains their dignity.
- Provide excellent quality personal care, including hygiene, washing, dressing, and nail care.
- Manage and administer medication according to individual needs, ensuring correct dosage and timing.
- Prepare meals, assist with eating, and help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and shopping.
- Support individuals in leading a social and active lifestyle, participating in meaningful activities, and providing companionship.
