What you'll be doing:
- Inspiring Young Swimmers: Help plan, deliver, and review fun and engaging swim lessons for children. 🧒
- Holiday Camp Hero: Bring your energy to our action-packed holiday camps, keeping kids active and entertained. 🏕️
- Making Waves: Support a range of aquatic activities, from extra-curricular lessons and school programs to adult lessons, galas, and even inflatable fun sessions! 🌊
- Inclusive Champion: Provide extra support for children with SEND needs, making sure everyone feels welcome and included. 🤗
- Team Player: Work alongside our experienced Aquarius staff, learning the ropes of swim teaching and gaining valuable supervisory skills. 🤝
- Community Connector: Help organise and support community events and activities, promoting sport and physical activity across Birmingham. 📍
- Travel Ready: Be prepared to travel to various pop-up pool sites across Birmingham. 🚗
About the Apprenticeship:
- Duration: 15 months
- Qualification: Level 2 Community Activator Apprenticeship (we'll fund your swim teacher qualification too! 💯)

Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a range of sport and aquatic projects and activities.
- Support the delivery and coordination of holiday activity and HAF schemes.
- Provide additional in-pool support to children with SEND needs to ensure inclusivity.
- Support the organisation of community and competitive events.
- Supervise members of the public, ensuring safety and complying with H&S practice.
