As a Community Activator Apprentice, you'll be a key player in boosting the health and happiness of kids, families, and communities through awesome swimming sessions. π You'll team up with our Aquarius crew and learn the ropes of planning, delivering, and smashing swim lessons. Plus, you'll get to shine at our holiday camps! π₯³
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and running fun, inclusive swimming activities for everyone. π€ΈββοΈ
- Helping out with extra swimming lessons for kids, school swimming, adult lessons, and even splashing fun at galas and inflatable sessions! π
- Supporting kids with special needs in the pool to make sure everyone feels welcome. π
- Getting involved in organizing events and community programs. π
- Helping out with our holiday schemes to keep kids active and entertained. βοΈ
- Learning supervisory skills with our pool supervisors to help swimmers progress. π
- Using cool tech to boost engagement in sports and swimming. π±
- Being a positive role model, promoting safety, and embodying our Foundation's values. β

Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a range of sport and physical activity projects and sessions, with a specific focus on swimming and aquatics.
- Support the delivery and coordination of holiday activity and HAF schemes for children.
- Provide support to members of the public, including children with SEND needs, ensuring their safety.
- Work collaboratively with partner organisations and support the organisation of community and competitive events.
- Develop supervisory skills within the swim school and utilise technology to engage pupils.
