As a Community Activator Coach Apprentice, you'll dive into the exciting world of swim teaching and community engagement. You'll work alongside experienced staff, learning to plan, deliver, and review awesome swim sessions and fun holiday camps. 🏕️ This is your chance to be a positive role model, inspire young minds, and make a real difference.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the charge in making sport and physical activity, especially swimming, accessible and fun for everyone! 🏃‍♀️💦
• Delivering engaging extra-curricular swimming lessons for kids (Key Stages 1 & 2).
• Supporting our swimming curriculum for schools and leading adult swimming lessons.
• Getting involved in exciting swimming galas, festivals, and inflatable fun sessions.
• Introducing kids to water polo and helping out with Aquatots parent & toddler sessions.
• Providing extra support in the pool for children with SEND needs, ensuring everyone feels included. 🤝
• Helping to organise community and competitive events that get people moving. 🎉
• Teaming up with awesome partner organisations to spread the word.
• Supporting our super fun holiday activity and HAF schemes for kids. ☀️
• Providing swimming duty cover when needed. ⏱️
• Learning the ropes of swim school supervision, helping manage progression and keep retention high.
• Using cool tech to boost engagement in physical activity and sports. 📱
• Championing our foundation's ethos and values, always aiming for high standards.
• Ensuring the safety of everyone you interact with by following top-notch Health & Safety practices. ✅
• Completing all training and courses as part of your 15-month apprenticeship. 📚

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and review fun, inclusive, and engaging swim sessions and projects.
• Support the delivery and coordination of various aquatic activities, including lessons, galas, and fun sessions.
• Provide additional support to ensure inclusivity for children with SEND needs and ensure public safety.
• Work on and support the delivery of Active Holiday camps and HAF schemes for children.
• Collaborate with partner organisations and assist in organising community and competitive events.
