About the role
Network & Security Specialist 🚀
Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of network infrastructure and cybersecurity? We're on the hunt for sharp minds eager to tackle challenges in TCP/IP networking, switching, and routing. 🕸️ If you're familiar with VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs, and have a knack for network troubleshooting, you'll fit right in! We work with both Windows and/or Linux infrastructure, and experience with monitoring, logging, or SOC/NOC tools is a big plus. 💡
We value cyber security awareness and meticulous documentation and change control. 🛡️
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Industrial networks 🏭
- SCADA / PLC / automation environments 🤖
- Critical infrastructure ⚡
- Specific technologies like Cisco/Allied Telesis, Fortinet, Hirschmann, or Moxa.
- SIEM or log monitoring tools such as SNMP Zabbix, Zeek, or XDR - Wazah.
- Scripting or automation for streamlined workflows. ⚙️
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks like IEC 62443 / NCSC CAF / CE.
Key responsibilities
- Perform network troubleshooting.
- Utilise monitoring and logging tools.
- Contribute to documentation and change control.
- Provide support for Windows and/or Linux infrastructure.
- Apply cyber security awareness.
