If you’ve got a passion for working with kids and are eager to gain your Level 3 qualification, this is your chance! 🤩

What you'll be doing:

• 🌟 Supporting and nurturing children aged 0-5 years old with their daily needs (think feeding, nappy changes, and potty training – the fun stuff! 😉).
• 🤝 Working hand-in-hand with our awesome team to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• 🎨 Planning and providing exciting, age-appropriate play activities that spark curiosity and learning.
• 🛡️ Ensuring the absolute safeguarding and well-being of every child in your care.
• 💖 Becoming a 'Key Person' – building special bonds with a small group of children and their families.
• 📝 Observing, assessing, and documenting each child's unique learning journey.
• 🏡 Creating a super supportive and engaging environment for all.
• 🗣️ Building fantastic relationships with parents and carers.
• 👍 Following our nursery's policies and procedures to keep everything running smoothly.
• 🤫 Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
• 📢 Attending regular team meetings to share ideas and grow together.
• 🧼 Upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and cleanliness.
• 📚 Participating in training events and meetings to boost your skills.
• 🤝 Collaborating with external partners to support our children.
• 🚀 Taking on other duties as needed to support the nursery manager.

What we're looking for:

• A genuine love for working with children! ❤️
• Previous experience in childcare is a must. ✅
• Ideally, you'll already have your Childcare Level 2 qualification. 🎓

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with children aged 0-5 years old, looking after their daily needs.
• Plan, provide and support age-appropriate play opportunities.
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.
• Observe, assess and record children’s learning and development progress.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents/carers.
