You'll be working with a supportive crew of experienced maintenance pros, contractors, clients, and our office team, all dedicated to keeping residential and commercial properties in top shape β safe, functional, and looking good. No prior maintenance experience? No problem! This is an apprenticeship, so weβll provide all the training, supervision, and support you need to succeed.
What youβll be doing:
- Helping with planned and reactive maintenance at properties. π‘
- Spotting faults, defects, and maintenance needs. π
- Carrying out basic repairs with guidance. πͺ
- Assisting with carpentry, plumbing, painting, plastering, tiling, and general property fixes. π¨π§π¨
- Working on doors, locks, and fixtures. πͺ
- Pitching in with minor outdoor tasks like drainage and fencing. π±
- Getting work areas ready and protecting client property before jobs start. π‘οΈ
- Using hand and power tools safely after training. π§°
- Choosing and using the right materials and fittings. β
- Keeping your tools, equipment, and workspace clean and organised. β¨
- Following all health and safety rules and rocking your PPE. βοΈ
- Reporting any hazards or extra work needed. π£
- Knowing when to ask for help β weβve got your back! π
- Chatting professionally with everyone you meet β residents, clients, and colleagues. π£οΈ
- Taking pics of your awesome work (before, during, and after). πΈ
- Keeping job updates neat and tidy in our systems. π
- Leaving job sites spotless and safe, and disposing of waste properly. β»οΈ
- Helping out with urgent and emergency jobs when needed. π¨

Key responsibilities
- Assist with planned and reactive maintenance works, including identifying faults and carrying out basic repairs under appropriate supervision.
- Prepare work areas, protect property, and leave completed work areas clean, safe, and tidy, disposing of waste appropriately.
- Keep tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean, organised, and secure.
- Record accurate job updates and completion information using company systems, taking photographs where required, and reporting identified hazards and defects promptly.
- Complete apprenticeship training, coursework, portfolio evidence, and assessments alongside day-to-day duties.

GCSE in: (English (grade Level 4 - 9 or A-C), Mathematics (grade Level 4 - 9 or A-C))
