- 🍎 Daily Life Support: Help with the essentials! This includes supporting daily routines, personal hygiene, meal times, school schedules, and bedtime.
- 🚀 Fostering Independence: Empower young people by teaching them crucial life skills. You'll encourage their confidence and resilience, helping them believe in themselves.
- 🧠 Positive Behaviour Management: Support young people through challenging situations with patience and a trauma-informed approach. You'll help them navigate difficulties in a constructive way.
- 🚗 Activities & Outings: Take young people to activities they enjoy, educational opportunities, important appointments, and family visits. Be their companion and guide on these journeys.
- 🏡 Creating a Home: Contribute to a warm and welcoming environment by assisting with cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living space.
- 🚨 Safeguarding Matters: Recognize and respond appropriately to any concerns about a child's welfare. Your vigilance is key to their protection.
- 📝 Recording & Reporting: Document incidents, behaviours, and other important information accurately. Clear communication is vital.
- ⏰ Flexible Working: Be prepared to work a variety of shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, waking nights, and/or sleep-ins, depending on the needs of the home.
